Accessing Analytics
Find margin insights at:
- Quotes → Analytics tab
- Dashboard → Profitability widget
- Reports → Quote Performance
Key Metrics
Margin Overview
| Metric | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Average Margin | Mean margin across all quotes |
| Median Margin | Middle value (less affected by outliers) |
| Margin Range | Lowest to highest margins |
| Standard Deviation | How much margins vary |
Win Rate by Margin
See how margin affects your success:
| Margin Band | Win Rate |
|---|---|
| 0-10% | Higher acceptance, lower profit |
| 10-20% | Balanced sweet spot |
| 20-30% | Good profit if you win |
| 30%+ | Lower acceptance, high profit when won |
Use this data to find your optimal margin. Sometimes a lower margin with higher win rate earns more total profit.
