Organizing Projects

Naming Conventions

Use consistent names for easy searching:

Good examples:

  • "123 Main St - Smith Kitchen Remodel"
  • "2024-03 - Johnson Addition"
  • "Acme Corp - Phase 2 Buildout"

Bad examples:

  • "New Project"
  • "Kitchen"
  • "Job 1"

Tags and Categories

Add tags to filter and group projects:

  • By Type: Residential, Commercial, Renovation
  • By Client: Builder name, repeat customers
  • By Scope: Kitchen, Bath, Addition, New Build

Filter by tags in the project list.
