Creating Projects
Start a new project to organize your work.
Quick Create
Open New Project
Click + New Project from the sidebar or dashboard.
Enter Project Details

Create
Click Create Project to save.
Naming Conventions
Use consistent names for easy searching:
Good examples:
- "123 Main St - Smith Kitchen Remodel"
- "2024-03 - Johnson Addition"
- "Acme Corp - Phase 2 Buildout"
Avoid:
- "New Project"
- "Kitchen"
- "Job 1"
What's Next After Creating
Once your project exists:
- Upload documents - Add plans and specs
- Run takeoff - Measure quantities with AI
- Create quote - Build an estimate

Can I edit project details later?
Yes, you can update project name, client info, and address anytime from project settings.
Can I delete a project?
Yes, go to project settings to delete. This removes all associated documents, takeoffs, and quotes.
