Search Tips
Exact Phrases
Use quotes for exact matches:
"Floor Plan"finds Floor PlanFloor Planfinds Floor and Plan separately
Wildcards
Use * for partial matches:
plan*finds plan, plans, planning*electric*finds anything with "electric"
Exclude Terms
Use - to exclude:
plan -mechanicalfinds plans but not mechanical

Narrow results with filters:
By Document Type

- Uploaded - when added to BuildVision

Combining Filters
Stack multiple filters:
Example: Find recent floor plans
- Type: Plans
- Search: "floor"
- Date: Last 30 days
Saved Searches
Save frequently used searches:
- Set up your search + filters
- Click Save Search
- Name it (e.g., "Active project plans")
- Access from Saved dropdown
Saved searches update dynamically - results change as documents match the criteria.

Order results by:

Troubleshooting
